Sam Butler’s Folklore Sextet (Full Performance) | Swing in September 2022

The 2022 season of the hit concert series Swing in September kicks off with a performance from Sam Butler’s Folklore Sextet. (And a special appearance by the Bloomington storm sirens.)

Sam Butler is a master’s student at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and an associate instructor in the Jazz Studies Department. His music focuses on blending styles of jazz with folk, rock, and funk, with the ultimate goal of creating beautiful and memorable melodies and improvisations.
